3M™ Scotch-Weld™ 7260 B/A FC-NS is a thixotropic 2-part structural epoxy adhesive designed for high-strength, toughened bonding of metals and composites. Ideal for demanding industrial applications with high temperature and dynamic stress.

Applications

• Structural bonding of steel, aluminium and composites (e.g. SMC, pultruded profiles)
• Ideal for applications with thermal loads, vibration or impact
• Thixotropic consistency for precise vertical application

Key Features

• Toughened formulation with high peel and shear strength – also at elevated temperatures
• Excellent resistance to oils, water, cleaners, diesel, etc.
• Working time: approx. 90 minutes (20 g mix)
• Service temperature: -55 °C to +120 °C (tested up to +200 °C)
• Cures at room temperature or accelerated at up to 65 °C

Technical Data

Application Notes

• Clean and mechanically pre-treat substrates (e.g. grinding, MEK, IPA)
• Mix components in 2:1 volume ratio thoroughly
• Apply with spatula, dispenser or dual-cartridge dispenser
• Clamping recommended; cure at room temperature or accelerated with heat
• Clean fresh adhesive with ketone-based solvents (e.g. MEK)
