The 3M double sided tape is a general-purpose double-sided tape. It features a pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive with high adhesion power, a non-woven backing and an easy-to-remove siliconized paper liner. With an excellent balance between strong initial adhesion and good shear strength at room temperature, as well as easy removal, tape has been designed as a carpet tape. It is, however, necessary to systematically evaluate the compatibility of the surface before starting an application.
