Description:

• Sika Activator 205 is an alcoholic solution with active substance liable to Akti-vation of bonding surfaces before bonding and sealing with Sikaflex products.
• Sika Activator 205 9001/14 001 and the Responsible Care program fro-submitted after qualifying assurance system ISO.

Scope:

• Activation of the following non-porous sub-reasons: metals, plastics, enameled glass (ceramic), coated substrates.
• This product is the applica-suited to advanced. In order to ensure adhesion and material compatibility, preliminary tests with the original materials under the respective conditions must be routed through.

Processing:

• Wipe the contact area with a clean cloth dampened with Sika Activator 205 paper-fleece. Change after each wipe paper towel.
• If the substrates to be bonded adhesively not after 2 hours, must be re-primed with Sika Activator 205 (max 2 times.).
• The ideal processing and surface temperature is + 15°C to + 25°C.
• The consumption depends on the substrates and manufacturing processes.
• Containers immediately after use tightly again.
• In case of continuous exposure to air humidity-activity Sika Activator 205 is cloudy and therefore inactive. The milky product must not be used.
• The evaporation time is of the order-dependent ambient conditions and temperature.
