MOTOREX COOL-PROTECT READY Coolant for spindle cooling systems 200L

COOL-PROTECT READY is a propylene glycol (PG) based spindle coolant and has a lower risk potential as monoethylene glycol (MEG).

Application

• Particularly suited to motor spindle cooling systems.

COOL-PROTECT READY must only be prepared using drinking water that does not exceed the following limits:

• Water hardness max. 20°dH (3.6 mmol/l)
• Chlorides max. 100 ppm
• Sulphates max. 100 ppm

Dosage

• Prepare a mixture with 25% COOL-PROTECT CONCENTRATE. Only use clean mixing containers. Fill the prepared cooling system with the mixture immediately

Shelf life / Storage

• 48 months from production date at a temperature of 5 °C to 35 °C in sealed containers. See product label for production date.

Service

COOL-PROTECT must be checked periodically in accordance with the specifications of the spindle or machine manufacturer. If a third-party product is to be replaced by COOL-PROTECT, the procedure is as follows:

•  Add 3% MOTOREX CS CLEANER to the ‘old’ coolant 2 – 3 days before the planned change and continue working as usual. To clean the system
• Drain the system completely
• Fill up with clean drinking water and allow to circulate for approx. 10 minutes (flush system)
• Drain the system completely
• Clean the tank
• Immediately add COOL-PROTECT CONCENTRATE in a 25% mixture

Notes

We recommend changing COOL-PROTECT annually. With good maintenance, the coolant can also be used for longer as long as all technical values are within the tolerance range. Do not use galvanised or similar materials for mixing vessels or storage tanks. An average operating temperature of 20°C to 25°C is very effective in protecting elastomers in the long term.
