Loctite 577 General-purpose Pipe Thread Sealant yellow 50ml

Loctite® 577 is a medium strength, thixotropic, general purpose thread sealant for straight-to-straight and straight-to-taper threaded fittings. Fills the space between threaded parts and seals and locks at the same time.

Application

• The product provides an instant, low-pressure seal for metal pipes and fittings. It will not creep, shrink or shred 
• Perfect for use on stainless steel without the need for surface activation
• Offers gap performance to 0.01in (0.25 mm)
• Will cure even in the presence of minor surface contaminations from cutting, lubrication, anti-corrosion and protection fluids, or cleaners containing surfactants and corrosion inhibitors
