Fuchs Gleitmo 627 Dry solid lubricant film 25 Kg Hobbock

GLEITMO 627 by Fuchs Lubritech GmbH is a suspension of GLEITMO White Solid Film Lubricants in water. It is being used widely as the friction stabilizers for reducing and stabilizing the coefficients of friction on fasteners. To optimize the lubrication properties GLEITMO 627 contains a special selected PTFE.
It can also be applied to effectively minimize “thread galling” and “cold welding” during tightening of stainless steel and other alloy fasteners. Therefore, many reputable manufacturers of fasteners are using GLEITMO 615 as the solution to prevent thread seizing.

Field of application

GLEITMO 627 has been developed for lubrication of bulk parts such as rivets, self-tapping and self-forming screws, and other parts with high requirements to the lubrication properties.

Method of application

Depending on the requirements, GLEITMO 627 can be diluted in water (at least drinking water quality). As a rule, GLEITMO 627 is used at dilution ratios of 1 : 3 (for centrifuge coating processes; stringent requirements) up to app. 1 : 7 (for dipping). In individual cases dilution ratios of 1 : 1 to 1 : 2 are used to achieve minimum grooving torques. The parts to be coated must be free of grease. Drums and centrifuges commonly used in the galvanising industry have proved to be convenient in case of large coating quantities. After the coating process it is recommended to dry the parts by hot air (up to a part temperature of approxi-mately 80 °C).

Note

Protect against freezing! In closed original containers, at room temperature, storable up to 24 months.
