Tribol™ EC Coating (previously called Optimol EC Coating) is a silicone-free synthetic oil with a wide temperature application range. High protection against corrosion and oxidation guarantees a reliable electric contact between plug connections.

• For electric plug connections in the electric and electronic industry
• Motor vehicles, computers, electrical appliances as well as airplanes and many other electric/electronic devices with cable plug connections
• Temperature application range: -40 °C/ -40 °F to + 120°C/+ 248°F

Additional Information

• Depending on the kind of application, TRIBOL EC COATING can be diluted with up to 95% solvent on hydrocarbon basis (solvent naphtha) and then be applied.
• Attention when diluting with flammable solvents such as solvent naphtha. Please observe the safety, risk and handling recommendations by the manufacturer.
• Do not apply on current-bearing or hot parts. Avoid dangerous electrostatic charges.
• Provide discharge of steam-air-mixtures
