Description
Castrol Aircol SN 68 compressor lubricants type VDL (ISO VG 68) are formulated using high quality synthetic diesters.
Application
- Designed for rotary screw, rotary vane, and reciprocating air compressors.
- They are intended for use in compressors operating at high compression ratios and high discharge temperatures.
- Aircol SN compressor oils have lower carbon formation tendencies and longer oil life compared to mineral oils due to their superior oxidation resistance.
- In reciprocating units, Aircol SN grades can have up to eight times the service life of mineral oils.

Advantages

- The operating temperature range of Aircol SN grades extend beyond that of conventional mineral oils. The high spontaneous ignition temperature provides greater safety by reducing the possibility of downstream fires and explosions.
