Class H 180°C Glass Cloth Tape
This Advance Tapes glass cloth tape is an adhesive tape which offers high mechanical strength and can withstand temperatures up to +180°C. It also offers resistance against acids and oils.
What is glass cloth tape?
This tape consists of glass woven together into a tape. Glass cloth tape is suitable for applications which may require additional strength, or need to withstand higher temperatures.
Is it adhesive?
Yes, this tape is single sided and features a silicone adhesive.
Is it flame retardant?
Yes, this tape is flame retardant to UL 510 and is recognised by UL.
What is it used for?
Electrical insulation applications
Coil electrical insulation
Insulation of square conductors in traction motors and generators
Tensional strapping of coils and armature windings
Termination building to protect the external layer of winding
