The 3M Anodizing Masking Tape 8985L is a purple, printed polyester tape with a rubber, non silicone adhesive. It is specifically developed for masking parts immersed in anodizing baths. The transparent purple backing allows visual inspection without removal of the tape. The backing provides high resistance to abrasion, tearing, scratching and mildew, helping to protect surfaces.
