Application:

IRK WM 855 is a boron-free, amine-free, mineral oil-based, water-miscible coolant with high long-term stability. It also features excellent rinsing performance and low foam formation.
Thanks to its low foaming tendency, IRK WM 855 is suitable for use in both soft and hard water conditions. Ideal for grinding operations and universal machining of steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, cast iron, and plastics.

Properties:

Due to its excellent long-term stability and strong resistance to fungi and bacteria, IRK WM 855 significantly reduces maintenance requirements over the entire tool life.
When mixed with water, it forms a finely dispersed emulsion with high stability, excellent corrosion protection, and minimal foaming. The emulsions are highly resistant to microorganisms, ensuring long tool life with low upkeep.

Usage Concentration:

6–12%

Materials:

Stainless steel, steel, cast iron, aluminum (compatibility should be tested beforehand), non-ferrous metals, and plastics

Machining Methods:

Drilling, turning, milling, sawing, grinding
Conventional and with internally cooled tools

Our water-miscible cooling lubricants are formaldehyde-free, chlorine-free, and nitrite-free.
