Boron-free, mineral oil-based water-miscible cutting and cooling concentrate with excellent rinsing power, long-term stability, and high-pressure resistance – ideal for medium-duty machining of steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and plastics.
Water-miscible cutting and cooling concentrate
For medium-duty machining such as stainless steel, steel, cast iron, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and plastics
• Contains mineral oil
• Boron-free
• Excellent rinsing performance
• Stable
• Also suitable for higher pressures (ICS – internal coolant supply)
IRK WM 849 is a boron-free, water-miscible coolant with high long-term stability, excellent rinsing performance, and low foam formation.
Thanks to its low foaming tendency, IRK WM 849 is also suitable for use in areas with very soft water. It is ideal for grinding operations and general machining of steel, non-ferrous metals, cast iron, and stainless steel.
The alternative amines used in IRK WM 849 provide high evaporation stability, which positively affects pH consistency and tool life.
Due to its long-term stability and high resistance to fungi and bacteria, maintenance effort is significantly reduced over the service life.
When mixed with water, IRK WM 849 forms a finely dispersed emulsion with high stability, excellent corrosion protection, and very low foam formation. The emulsions are resistant to microorganisms, allowing long tool life with minimal maintenance.
