Fosia Mix Micro

( Previously named: Mixing Device for Plastic Cans and Drums )

Mixing unit for emulsions and cooling lubricant concentrates
• Operates on Venturi (jet pump) principle – no electricity needed
• Adjustable concentration range: 1–16%
• For all water-soluble coolant concentrates
• Compatible with 5L, 10L, 25L, 60L, and 200L containers
• 5 suction tube lengths + adapters for barrels and canisters included
• Allows precise metering for efficient concentrate use
• Includes: emulsion outlet, concentration controller, ball valve, aluminum case, water coupling
• Inlet pressure: 3–6 bar

Application:

The Jokisch Fosia Mix Micro is a manual mixing unit based on the Venturi (jet pump) principle and requires no electric power.
It transfers energy from the water (propellant fluid) to the concentrate, simplifying the mixing of cooling lubricants and other emulsions.
The mixing ratio is adjusted using a precision control wheel. Use with a handheld refractometer for concentration checks.

Properties:

  • Adjustable concentration range: 1–16%
  • All water-soluble cooling lubricant concentrates can be mixed
  • Ideal for filling individual machines or containers
  • Fits container sizes: 5L, 10L, 25L, 60L, 200L using supplied adapters
  • Includes 5 suction tube lengths and screw caps for barrels and canisters
  • Designed for water inlet pressure of 3–6 bar

Construction Features:

  1. Emulsion outlet

    Assembly Instructions :

    1. Verify that the screw adapter fits your container (200L by default; adapters for 5L, 10L, 25L also included).
    2. Select and insert the correct suction pipe length into the device base.
    3. Secure water hose to inlet with a screw clamp; install backflow protection if required (per EN 1717 or DIN 1988-4).
    4. Open the ball valve fully during operation to ensure proper flow.
    5. Never lengthen the outlet hose.
    6. Adjust concentration step-by-step using the dial (1–16%).
    7. Always verify final concentration using a refractometer.
