Application:

Shell Tellus S3 M 100 is a high-performance ISO VG 100 zinc-free hydraulic fluid developed to support long equipment life, reduce maintenance, and maintain system efficiency under high-load, severe-duty applications in industrial, marine, and mobile hydraulic systems. Previously known as Shell Tellus S3 M.

Performance Features & Benefits:

• Long Fluid Life: Designed for extended operation with a minimum 5000-hour TOST life (ASTM D943), reducing equipment downtime and extending oil drain intervals.
• Wear Protection: Advanced zinc-free anti-wear additives provide robust protection under both low and high load conditions; validated through Denison T6H and Eaton Vickers 35VQ25 tests.
• System Efficiency: Maintains excellent filterability even when contaminated with water. Delivers strong water separation, air release, and anti-foam performance.
• Cleanliness: Supplied at ISO 4406 cleanliness rating of 21/19/16 or better from Shell filling lines to support filtration and minimize component wear.
• Environmental Compatibility: Low sulfur and zinc-free formulation classified as ‘not harmful’ to aquatic organisms. Reduced environmental impact in the event of leaks or spills.
