AeroShell Fluid 5M-A is a highly refined mineral lubricating oil formulated for helicopter transmissions and other aviation gear mechanisms operating under extreme pressure. It is particularly recommended for use in translation units of contra-rotating propellers, radar gearboxes, constant speed alternator drives, and helicopter gearboxes that require MIL-PRF-6086 ‘Grade Medium’ oil. AeroShell Fluid 5M-A is not suitable for engine lubrication.
