OKS VP980 Lubricant for Electrical Switches 250g tube

OKS VP 980 is a special grease for lubricating electrical contacts in energy technology.

Field of application

• Lubrication of electrical sliding contacts from the material pairs Cu/Cu, Cu/Ag or plastic/plastic within a wide temperature range
• Damping grease for automobile switches, at grease-lubricated small gears, at load circuit-breakers in medium-voltage systems
• Contact and wear protection for load circuit breakers in medium-voltage systems, especially under the influence of extinguishing gas SF6
• Lubrication of precision-mechanical precision devices
• Lubrication of small gears at very low or very high temperatures

Application tips

For highest effectiveness, carefully clean the lubrication point, for example with OKS 2621 contact cleaner. Apply evenly and
thinly to the functional surfaces with a brush or spatula. Avoid excesses. Observe the machine manufacturer’s instructions. Assess
the lubrication frequency and quantity on basis of service conditions. Only mix with suitable lubricants.
