Teroson VR 410 Non-curing Housing & Flange Sealant blue 75ml tube

TEROSON® VR 410 (known as Fluid D) is a non-curing, pasty gasketing compound based on synthetic resin, designed for sealing housings and flanges. It remains permanently plastic, is easily demountable, and is ideally suited as an addition to solid gaskets on roughly machined metal surfaces.

Applications

• Sealing of housings, housing covers and metal flanges
• Supplementary gasket for coarse surfaces and solid gaskets
• Use in vibration-prone components such as engine blocks
• Temporary sealing in maintenance environments

• Temperature resistant from -40 °C to +120 °C
• Suitable for gap widths > 20 mm
• Can be applied with brush or cloth
• Resistant to motor and diesel oils
• Solvent-based, remains plastic

Technical Data

Application Notes

• Substrates must be clean, dry, and free of oil and grease
• Apply approx. 1 mm thick on one or both sides
• Parts can be assembled immediately or after short airing time
• Avoid excess material inside housings (e.g. oil sumps)
• Remove residues with a dry cloth
