Description
Hylomar AF (Advanced Formulation) HV (High Viscosity) is a solvent-free, non-hardening, high-viscosity, thixotropic sealing compound that is ideal for sealing joints. It can also be used as a gasket dressing and flange sealant, enhancing the sealing capability of all types of gaskets and flanges.

Applications
- Sealing of closely fitted flanges against most lubricants and automotive fluids
- Improving the sealing efficiency of gaskets and flange connections
- Facilitates the alignment of components during assembly

- Camshaft caps on cylinder heads
- End plate covers on electric motors
- Gland seals on fuel injection pipes

Handling & Safety
Hylomar Advanced Formulation HV can be applied manually from a cartridge with a suitable applicator or using automated dispensing equipment. It remains permanently plastic and can be removed at any time. After application to sealing surfaces, parts can be assembled immediately or at a later stage.
To remove Hylomar Advanced Formulation HV, a cloth soaked in acetone can be used – no mechanical scraping is required.
The product is classified as non-hazardous. However, it is recommended to consult the safety data sheet for detailed handling instructions.
