Description
LOCTITE® 493 is a transparent, colorless, methyl-based instant adhesive that is particularly suitable for bonding metal surfaces. Additionally, it adheres effectively to plastics, rubber, and polyolefins (when used with primer LOCTITE SF 770 or LOCTITE SF 7239). Fixture time is achieved within 10 to 30 seconds.

Storage and Shelf Life
LOCTITE® 493 should be stored at a temperature between 2 °C and 8 °C to ensure optimal shelf life. The container should always be tightly closed after use to prevent moisture contamination.

- P280: Wear protective gloves, eye protection, and face protection.
Response:
- P304+P340: IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
- P305+P351+P338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
- P337+P313: If eye irritation persists: Get medical attention.
- P370+P378: In case of fire: Use foam, dry chemical, or carbon dioxide to extinguish.
Storage:
- P403+P233: Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.
- P235: Keep cool.
- P405: Store locked up.
Disposal:
- P501: Dispose of contents/container in accordance with Federal, State/Provincial, and local regulations.
